The agreement
These terms are a contract between you and Skyrise for use of the Skyrise client, the delivery service and your account. By creating an account, buying a plan or activating a licence you accept these terms, the privacy policy and the refund policy as published at the versions shown on each page.
If you buy a plan as part of a subscription, the subscription terms below also apply. Where a plan-specific page states extra conditions, those conditions apply to that plan only.
Licence grant
Each product in your Skyrise Edge subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and run that product for as long as it is active in your subscription. A bundle grants this licence for every product in the categories it includes, including products added later. You may not resell, rent, sublicense, share or publicly distribute the software, your licence key, or access to either.
Machine binding and reset credits
Every licence binds to the machine it activates on. The client records a hardware fingerprint of that machine and refuses to run elsewhere until the binding is reset. This keeps one licence equal to one person.
Each product includes a number of machine reset credits, shown on the pricing page and in your account. A motherboard replacement or a move to a new computer consumes one credit. Credits are metered per billing period, do not roll over between terms, and never expire while the plan is active.
If you run out of credits, additional resets can be requested through support and may be granted at Skyrise's discretion. Reset credits have no cash value and are not refundable.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the client only on machines you own or control, only with an account you own, and only in ways that do not break the terms of this agreement. You must not:
- reverse engineer, decompile or redistribute the client beyond what applicable law allows (see the Reverse Engineering & Anti-Tamper Policy below);
- share your licence key, account or machine bindings with another person;
- attempt to bypass machine binding, licence checks or session controls;
- use the client to attack, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to any system that is not the game the client targets;
- use the client on machines that process payment card data, medical data or other regulated data.
Reverse Engineering & Anti-Tamper Policy
Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, debugging, hooking, dynamic analysis, or attempting to analyze the inner workings, memory architecture, or network traffic of Skyrise software is strictly prohibited.
Enforcement: Any attempt to analyze, modify, or breach software integrity will result in an immediate, permanent revocation of your software license and an account ban without warning and without eligibility for a refund.
Availability and delivery
The client is delivered as a download bound to your licence. Delivery of updated builds after a game update is a service goal, not a guaranteed uptime: the delivery schedule depends on changes to the game itself and is described on the pricing page, not in these terms.
We may take the service offline for maintenance. Planned maintenance is announced in your account at least 24 hours ahead where practical.
Suspension and termination by Skyrise
We may suspend a licence or account if we reasonably believe it is shared, resold, used against these terms, or used to attack our infrastructure. We will tell you which rule was broken and give you a chance to respond, except where the conduct endangers the service or other customers, in which case suspension can be immediate. Breach of the Anti-Tamper Policy is handled under that section, without prior notice.
We may terminate a plan for convenience with 14 days' notice. If we terminate a paid plan for convenience and not for your breach, the unused full months of the term are refunded. Termination for your breach is not refunded.
Skyrise Edge subscription
Skyrise Edge is billed monthly or annually and renews automatically at the end of each period until you remove its products or cancel. Annual billing costs ten times the monthly rate. Changes follow the Refund Policy: removals keep access to the end of the paid period without a refund, additions are charged for the rest of the current period before access starts, and switching between monthly and annual billing takes effect at renewal.
Payments and taxes
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Prices are shown exclusive of tax; where applicable, tax is calculated and collected by Stripe Tax at checkout and shown before you pay.
Refunds are governed by the refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
Liability
The client is provided as-is. To the extent allowed by law, Skyrise is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including game account sanctions, lost wagers or lost profits, arising from use or inability to use the client. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Our total liability for any claim connected to a plan is limited to the amount you paid for that plan in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version and effective date are shown at the top of this page. Material changes are announced in your account at least 14 days before they take effect; continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at Skyrise's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Consumer protections that cannot be waived under the law of your residence still apply.
