Data Collection
We restrict data collection to the identifiers required to run, protect and support your software access. We collect:
- Hardware ID (HWID): The system machine UUID hash generated by your operating system, used purely to bind licensing architecture files to your specific machine.
- Email: Used for account access, automated invitation delivery, and essential service communications.
- Account details: your username, and your Discord handle if you choose to add one.
- Sign-in and session records: for each client session, the IP address (shown to you masked in your account), approximate country, client version, and start and end times. We use these to show you your sessions, let you end them, and detect shared or resold keys.
- Client diagnostics: heartbeats, crash and error reports and performance metrics sent by the Skyrise client, used only to keep the software working.
- Support messages: the content of tickets you open with us.
- Payment Metadata: Order and customer identifiers generated by our gateway integration (Stripe) to automatically manage and track active software licenses.
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Compliance
For users located within the European Economic Area (EEA), Skyrise.cc operates in compliance with GDPR standards:
- Legal Basis for Processing: We process your personal data under the necessity of contractual performance (fulfilling and maintaining your software license) and legitimate interests (preventing unauthorized access and service abuse).
- Data Subject Rights: You retain the right to request access to, rectification of, or erasure of your personal data stored within our systems.
- Data Retention: We keep account, licence and session records while your account exists and after a subscription ends, so renewals, support and abuse prevention keep working. You can ask us to delete your personal data at any time; we then delete or anonymise it, except records we must keep by law (such as payment and tax records) or to enforce a ban for breach of these terms.
- Data Transfers and processors: Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS certified provider; we never receive your full card details. Our service is hosted on Cloudflare, which also runs the bot check on sign-in, sign-up and checkout (Turnstile). International transfers to these processors rely on standard contractual clauses.
Data Isolation & Security
Your data is stored with our hosting provider behind authenticated, encrypted connections and kept private. We do not harvest browser tracking logs, local files, real identities, or marketing lists. Payment handling is executed securely through Stripe, ensuring your full payment details and credentials are never stored directly on our database servers.
Third-Party & Advertising Disclosures
Skyrise never sells, rents, handles, or reveals user metrics to external ad-tracking firms, advertising networks, analytical agencies, or external businesses. We do not serve third-party advertisements or utilize tracking cookies. Billing data is securely processed through Stripe solely to confirm transaction statuses and manage subscriptions.
We use only strictly necessary cookies: one that keeps you signed in and one that remembers your colour theme.
